Our Minnesota in July was packed with long, warm(ish) summer days. Our family spent the month chasing the sunlight. The girls rode their bikes in the neighborhood, hung out at the pool, lakes & beaches, and stayed up late (if only they’d slept in late, too-ha!). Living in Minnesota now (instead of TX where I grew up), I cherish every last drop of the few warm months here, so even on our “boring” days at home, I urge the kids to get outside to play. Here I captured the girls playing with bubbles in the backyard. This was also my first attempt at “freelensing.” It was a little unnerving having my lens detached from my camera body, and super challenging to get anything in focus with said detached lens + fast-moving littles, but I loved the tiny slice-of-focus that resulted! Hope you enjoy my Minnesota in July!
